Computers may not be reserved. Usage is on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of four hours of computer time and/or four logins per day is allowed. Sessions are limited to one hour if others are waiting. Computers automatically shut down ten minutes before the library closes.
Laser printing and scanning are available. Black and white printouts are 10¢ per page, color printouts are 50¢ per page, and there is no charge for scanning. A free wireless connection to the library’s Internet service is also available.
Interlibrary Loan
The library supplements its collection with an interlibrary loan service that enables Norwalk Easter Public Library cardholders to request materials from libraries around the state and across the nation.
Requests may be made in person, by telephone, or by email. An
Interlibrary Loan Request must be filled out for each material. A maximum of three active requests—materials being searched for and those on loan—are allowed. Materials in various formats may be borrowed. Outstanding fees must be paid and overdue materials returned before requests are processed.
Locating and receiving requested materials usually takes one to two weeks. Loan periods and renewals are at the discretion of the lending library. There is no charge for interlibrary loan service. However, customers are responsible for fees or fines charged by the lending library and for the replacement cost of lost or damaged materials. A $2.00 fee, in addition to any fees assessed by the lending library, is charged for each material requested but not picked up.

A public meeting room is available for civic, cultural, community, educational, political, religious, or social activities.
